Terms & Conditions

Welcome to A Pawsitive Stroll! By booking or using my dog walking services, you (the “Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure the safety of your dog, the general public, and myself, the service provider.

1. Services Provided

I offer individual dog walks, as discussed during our initial consultation. Walks will only ever be on lead. Your dog will have access to water and be given plenty of opportunity to use the toilet (poo bags will be provided by us).

2. Scheduling and Access

  • All walks must be booked in advance via [phone/email/WhatsApp].

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring I have access to the dog at the scheduled time (e.g., via key or lockbox).

  • I reserve the right to adjust walking times slightly due to weather, traffic, or other appointments.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% fee.

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged in full.

  • If I need to cancel for any reason, I will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule or refund you.

4. Pet Health & Safety

  • Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and in general good health.

  • I must be informed of any behavioral issues (e.g., aggression, anxiety, escape attempts).

  • I reserve the right to refuse service or end a walk early if your dog poses a risk to themselves, me, or others.

5. On-lead Policy

For safety, all dogs will be walked on a lead. You must provide a suitable harness or collar (with identity tag) that I can attach a lead to.

6. Liability

  • While I take the utmost care of your pet, I cannot be held liable for injuries or illness resulting from pre-existing conditions, natural causes, or unavoidable incidents.

  • You (the Client) are financially responsible for any harm your dog causes to another dog, person, or property during the walk.

7. Weather Policy

Walks will continue in most weather conditions. However, during extreme weather (e.g., thunderstorms, heatwaves, ice), walks may be shortened or rescheduled for safety reasons. These conditions will be subject to my discretion. As a general rule I do not walk dogs during high temperatures.

8. Keys & Home Access

  • Any client keys that are given to me will be stored securely

  • I am not responsible for any damage resulting from faulty keys, locks, or alarm systems.

9. Media Release

With your permission, I may take photos of your pet for social media or promotional purposes. No personal information will be shared.

10. Agreement

By using my services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
